Works for Me Wednesday: Out with the old, In with the new!
Okay, I admit it, I was holding on to something that I just needed to let go. 4 years ago when my MIL asked me what I wanted for Christmas, I said a vacuum.Well, that's just what I got. And a good one too. They had just bought themselves one and liked it very much.
A month or so ago, it started to die on me. I would work, then it wouldn't. Repeat pattern every day, LOL. Well, last Friday, it died. It no longer sucked. Not one bit!
And so, I was off on a mission.
As much as I would have liked to have bought one of these (which by the way you can win over at 5 Minutes for Mom), I can't afford one. So, I went with my budget and purchased this.
Y'all, I have never had a vacuum cleaner that sucked so well. (NO PUN INTENDED) And the price isn't bad at all for what you get. It comes with all sorts of neat attachments and you wouldn't believe all the crap I got out of my carpets the first use. If your using a vacuum cleaner that is over 2 or so years, maybe it's time to find a new one. And I highly recommend this one I purchased at Target (on sale for $80.00 this past weekend).For more WFMW participants, head on over to Shannon's.

I'm going to keep this recommendation in mind because we have vacuum cleaner troubles all the time. Those things just don't last... of course, if we would splurge on a really good one, we might not have so many problems!
I hate my vacuum. I will have to look at that when the $$ come in!

I'm clicking on the pic, but it's not linking...looks like my Bissell, but mine's green. If so, I love mine! I even vacuumed up a sock yesterday and it's still going strong!
I'm in dire need of a new vacuum. Amazing how much nicer our world becomes when the tools we use work!

Oh the joy of a new vacuum! I got my new vacuum last November and still love it. Enjoy.
I get the $40 Bissell since we tend to blow it up yearly. What can I say? 4 dogs, 2 kids, 1 guinea pig & DH is hard work for 1 little ole' vacuum LOL
I have this one too and love it. I have laminate floors, thin carpet, berber carpet, and a strawtype rug so having the different level of brushes is great. I can do 'em all. I'm glad it works for you too!
I sincerely hope whoever bought you that vacuum cleaner got their money back!

We don't have those here.
I have one that works well, but we don't have carpet, which makes it easier with a vacuumer.
Sometimes I just sweep the floor and clean it wet.
Nothing sucks worse than not having a good vacuum!

Funny! I have this exact vacuum! I did research a couple years ago when I was looking and came up with it from Consumer Reports. I love it - it is quite a sucker!
BTW - I love your hair, the color looks great!
