Works for Me Wednesday: Organization

A few weeks ago when our new Target opened, I think I perused every aisle in the store. And I found 2 things that I hope I never have to be without again.

The first one is from Real Simple. It's an "pre-made" grocery checklist. You just check what you need and it even has spots for you to write down extra things that aren't on there. It's awesome. Just check them as you need it, then right before heading to the store, tear it off and go!

This first picture is a close-up shot to give you an idea of what it looks like.

This second one is just an overall view of it. The best part about it, it hangs on your fridge. And the magnet is great. That baby isn't going anywhere.

The next thing is a weekly pad. Kinda like a post-it but magnetized so you can hang it on your fridge. I write our menu on the top and things to do (doctor visits, etc) on the bottom. The best part, it was in the DOLLAR bin at Target!!

Both of these things definitely work for me. Who wouldn't love them?

I use that grocery list too - love it! Hadn't seen the week-long calendar though.

I'm just bummed because I have a glass-front fridge, and magnets won't stick to it. Oh well...

Well, I needed a good reason to visit the dollar section at Target - I haven't been in a while. I really like the weekly pad!

I'm gonna have to check out that dollar bin. Both of those are great, but I like that weekly pad the best!

I've heard about a list like this and wondered how well it worked. Maybe I should give it a try.

I find all sorts of great organizing tools at Target and you're right, the $1 bin is GREAT! My favorite thing I've found there was about two years ago. It was a set of three mini-plastic nesting crates. I put a couple sets in my drawers for odds and ends and a set in my medicine cabinet for tweezers, clippers and small things like that. Keep an eye out for those and stock up! They're worth it!
