Tasty Thursday: Breakfast Edition

Happy Thursday!!! Are y'all as glad as I that it's almost the weekend? I've been ran ragged this week and need some relaxation.

Welcome to the Breakfast Edition of Tasty Thursday. As stated last week, I was given the idea to do some "themes" and will continue as long as I can come up with them. So please, leave me a comment and give me some theme ideas, if you will! :)

This recipe is AWESOME!!! Mark's Aunt Lisa makes it every holiday (we eat it as a dessert also) and 2 years ago I finally asked her for the recipe. I've used different kinds of cream cheese and they all turn out great!!!

BREAKFAST CREAM CHEESE DISH

2 CRESCENT ROLLS
2 8OZ CREAM CHEESE
1 CUP SUGAR
1 TEASPOON VANILLA
CINNAMON

MIX SOFTENED CREAM CHESSE, SUGAR AND VANILLA TOGETHER. LIGHTLY GREASE A 10X13 BAKING DISH AND PLACE ONE PACKAGE OF CRESCENT ROLLS PINCHING SEAMS TOGETHER. SPRINKLE CINNAMON ON AND A LITTLE SUGAR THEN SPREAD THE CREAM CHEESE MIXTURE, ROLL OUT THE NEXT CRESCENT ROLLS PINCHING SEAMS, POUR ½ CUP MELTED BUTTER THEN SPRINKLE WITH MORE CINNAMON AND ABOUT 1/2 CUP OF SUGAR. BAKE AT 350 DEGREES FOR ABOUT 25-30 MINUTES OR UNTIL DONE.

Don't forget to link back so your readers can join in and share their "tried and true" Breakfast recipes as well.

The cream cheese dish sounds (no pun intended) absolutely tasty! We'll be doing this recipe over the weekend! Thanks for hosting this meme!

Just a few...I'm sure you can come up with some better though. Those are just off the top of my head.

Your recipe sounds great! I have been without internet and did not know about the theme until today so I got to go find a recipe.

That sounds really yummy - very similar to a coffee cake I do with canned biscuits.
Sorry I missed TT this week - emotional week and honestly didn't feel like blogging at all! I'll be back next week!
